My Great American Road Trip (kind of)

The first thing I learned on this trip? Planning a road trip is one thing, sticking to that plan is a whole other ball game. To see what I’m talking about all you have to do is compare my original trip map with what ended up happening. Looking back I wouldn’t change anything! This trip was one of the most incredible experiences of my lifetime and I am so thankful for the opportunity.

California

My trip begin in Los Angeles and my drive up my favorite coast took me through San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Monterey and San Francisco!  (See more in, “West Coast Best Coast: Leg One of My Great American Road Trip”)

My time in Oregon was mostly spent in Portland as well as Bridal Veil Falls and Dead Mans Pass!  (See more in, “West Coast Best Coast: Leg One of My Great American Road Trip”)

Washington

Originally I planned to drive all the way to La Push and Seattle, Washington but having visited those places before I decided to gove myself more time in Oregon. However, while driving through Oregon on my way to Idaho, I ended up crossing the border into Washington and decided to get out of the car and explore for a bit!  (See more in, “West Coast Best Coast: Leg One of My Great American Road Trip”)

Idaho

I spent the night in Boise, Idaho while on my way to Salt Lake City, Utah! My brief stop in Boise was a lot of fun! Met some really nice people and ate some great food! Also made a stop at Shoshone Falls on my way out of the state! (See more in, “West Coast Best Coast: Leg One of My Great American Road Trip”)
