Disneyland is currently running a special for Southern California residents, $189 for a three-day park hopper ticket. The special is running until May 25, 2017 and is a great deal!
Day One: Disneyland!!!We spent our first day at Disneyland, knowing we had three days we were able to take our time and have a much more laid back day with Mickey.
We went to Downtown Disney for dinner at Catal Restaurant and then went back to Disney to enjoy the rides after some drinks of choice, which gave a whole new Disney experience!
Disneyland retired the Main Street Electrical Parade in 1997 and brought it back this year until June! This parade is a very distinct memory from my childhood and it was so much fun to see it again as an adult!
Day Two: California Adventure AND Disney!
We spent the day at California Adventure. First we went to my favorite place at California Adventure which is the Animation Studio! There are a bunch of huge screens that play the most emotional and epic parts of Disney movies on a loop. It’s amazing and gets to me every time! We rode the big rides like California Screaming and the brand new Soaring Over the World! The ride used to be Soaring Over California but has been updated to include wonders all over the world. The new ride is breath taking!!!
After spending the day in California Adventure we had dinner in Downtown Disney at the Rainforest Cafe.
After dinner we closed down California Adventure with some beer on Main Street and more time in the Animation Studio!
Day Three: Back and forth at our leisure!
By our third day we were pretty exhausted so we had a pretty lazy day going back and forth between the parks. We got fast passes for Radiator Springs and Soaring over the World so we could avoid the crazy lines caused by President’s Day.
As we were waiting for our fast pass times for the California Adventure rides we went over to Disneyland to go on Indiana Jones again. We lucked out and a random guy gave us his fast passes so we got to skip the line! We ended up passing on the good deed by giving a group of people our “Soaring” passes because we ended up waiting in line so that we could leave the park a little earlier rather than wait for our fast passes.
