Cork and Belfast, Ireland

Our first stop in Ireland was in Cobh (Cork) which is famous for being the last port of call for H.M.S. Titanic. When we docked we got on a bus and headed for Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney Stone.

We also had some time to walk around Cork before our ship left to head for Dublin…

Unfortunately, we never made it to Dublin. Our ship, instead of docking in Dublin as planned, broke down in the middle of the Irish Sea! Something to do with a fuel pump and by the time it was fixed it was too late to make it to our port. Very disappointed but going with the flow, we set sail for Belfast which was our final stop in Ireland.

Spent my day stuck in the ocean with Mr. Potter.

In Belfast, we went to the Titanic Museum and stopped in a pub to have a beer since we missed our pub tour in Dublin.
